The Respiratory Datamart system is used as a sentinel laboratory
surveillance tool, monitoring all major respiratory viruses.
In week 9, 10,849 respiratory specimens reported through the Respiratory DataMart
System were tested for SARS-CoV-2. 985 samples were positive for SARS-CoV-2
with an overall positivity of 9.1%, which decreased slightly from 9.5% the previous
week. In week 9, 5,481 respiratory specimens reported through the Respiratory
DataMart System were tested for influenza. 99 samples tested positive for influenza;
8 influenza A(H3), 2 influenza A(H1N1)pdm09, 17 influenza A(not subtyped) and 72
influenza B. Overall, influenza positivity decreased slightly to 1.8% in week 9
compared with 2.5% in week 8.
