• In South-East Asia, influenza activity of predominately influenza A(H3N2) continued to be reported across
countries in the subregion. Influenza detections were reported at levels similar to the previous reporting period
in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (influenza A(H3N2) and B/Victoria), Singapore and Thailand (influenza
A(H3N2)). Influenza detections decreased in Malaysia (influenza A(H3N2) and B) and in the Philippines
(influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2)). Timor-Leste reported influenza activity of predominately B/Victoria in
recent weeks. Detections of influenza B/Victoria increased in Viet Nam.
