Taking Acid Reflux Tablets with food and drink
You can take your tablets with food or on an empty stomach.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding andfertility

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have
a baby, askK your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Omeprazole ijS excreted in breast milk but is not likely to influence the child when
tnerapeutic doses are used. Your doctor wil decide whether you can (ake Acid Reflux
Tablets if you are breastfeeding.

Drivinq and usind machines

Acid Reflux Tablets js not likely to affect your ability to drive or use any tools or
machines. Side effects such as dizziness and visual disturbances rnay OccUr (see
section 4). f afiected, you shouid not drive or operate machinery.

Acid Reflux Tablets contain lactose

if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some SugarS,
contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.

3. HOW TO TAKE ACID REFLUX TABLETS

Always take Acid Reflux Tablets exactly as described jn this leaflet. You should check
with your doctor or pharrmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is one 20 mg tablet or two 10 mg tablets once a day for 14
days. Contact youf doctor if you are not free ffom symptoms after this period.

It might be necessary to take the tablets for 2-3 consecutive days to achieve
improvement of symptoms.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if ft is almost
time for your next dose, Skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make ub for
a forgotten dose.
